THE CLIKS BLAST OFF “ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE” PLEDGE MUSIC CAMPAIGN FOR A TOUR

Hey Kids!

As some of you may know, being an indie band these days takes a lot of creativity to get us from our home to your town to perform so we have set off on a journey with Pledge Music to do just that!

In our efforts, we are also trying to raise awareness for the LGBTQ community with our “All You Need Is Love” campaign. After we reach our 100% goal we will be donating 25% of every dollar to the True Colors Residence of the West End Residencies which is a non profit organization that creates housing to help LGBT youth.

My Gibson Les Paul Contest to the Highest Bidder!

Hey Kids,

So it’s time to record another album. YES!

But there’s a little issue, it’s called being an indie band with no financial backing so we’re trying to find creative ways, in this dysfunctional business we call music, to come up with ways to fund the making of the record.

So here is my first attempt and this is a good one!

I am auctioning off my beloved black Gibson Les Paul Goddess to the highest bidder.

This is the guitar I used with The Cliks for both True Colors tours led by the iconic Cyndi Lauper (2007/2008), both of The Cult tours (2008/2009) and the New York Dolls tour (2009). There is a lot of history and memories in this guitar. It has been around some of the most revered artists of our time, including Debbie Harry, Erasure, The B-52’s, Tegan & Sara, The Dresden Dolls and of course my pals Cyndi Lauper and Margaret Cho, etc… Then of course there’s the little guy who belted his heart out every night on stage alongside these amazing artists. Oh wait, that’s me.

So here’s the deal. This guitar is already a great on it’s own, but I also replaced the original pick ups with Lollar Humbucker pick ups so it sounds super juicy and warm. Yes, that’s what I said. Juicy and warm.

AND on top of that, it will be signed by Cyndi Lauper, Margaret Cho and myself.

Here’s how we’re going to do this. The bidding starts at $2,500.00.

Your payment will be accepted via Pay Pal only and needs to be received no later than 2 days after the contest closes or your bid will be declined and will go the next highest bidder.

Shipping & handling is not included in your bid.
